Food to go in these difficult times! I come from the gastronomy and what the team in the council chamber does in terms of quality and friendliness and everything that goes with it, chapeau !!!! It's a shame that you / I can't give more stars ....

Have on December 25th Food for 5 people picked up from the Christmas card, including fillet and roast beef. At first we thought about whether the meat was too cooked after it was picked up, but we were pleasantly surprised. It was like being in a restaurant !! The meat was perfect on point and tasted great! We were very satisfied and had a delicious Christmas dinner. Pick-up was also very well organized on site. Keep it up! We will be back!

We have been going out to eat with the family in the council chambers for years and were always more than satisfied until a few months ago. The food is always very good - with a few exceptions - we have not yet given a rating. Today, however, we all feel that we have to make a statement! As I said, the food was good to very good again, but the service didn't have its best day! After the main course was served before the salad - if we hadn't followed up, we probably wouldn't have got one yet ..... and, despite inquiries, unfortunately we haven't received any napkins, we were still in good spirits. The fact that the bill was then brought to the table without being asked made us think. Mistakes happen and with a charming "sorry" everything would have been fine ... but nothing came up! Have we misbehaved or broken etiquette? No! Were we rude? No! Too loud? No! Somewhat at a loss, we settled the bill and left. We are very disappointed with the way we deal with the guests and no longer feel very welcome. What a shame ... ADDITION: The management has now contacted us and we have discussed the matter. That in turn found exactly the right gesture! We talked, each side was able to take a constructive position and so the process was eliminated. We are now happy to go to the council chambers again - after Corona lock down light - and we are sure to be positively surprised. Look forward to it !!

Very tasty food! Super seasoned fillet and rump steaks - as well as lamb For Filder Umgebung, the quality of the meat is definitely in the upper standard. As a starter there was home-pickled salmon which could only fill the same amount as a main course, but also the horseradish, the salad and the bread were very tasty. We were particularly impressed by the merretich with its sweet note. The homemade spaetzle are perfect, the potato salad and the fried potatoes are also great. The dish "The best of the lamb" is the veste lamb dish around here. The fillet steak as well as the rump steak was served perfectly medium. The portions are definitely sufficient per person. The starter was very tasty and light, and the salads are fresh, crisp and subtle So it is reasonably priced between 20-30 euros. If you want to go out for a bourgeois meal, you should definitely visit and try this restaurant. PS: The service and especially the boss was also very nice

We went to eat here with the family today and were thoroughly delighted! Very friendly service, there was a greeting from the kitchen, which you see less and less and this was very tasty. As a starter we had the salmon with horseradish which tasted great and a large portion for the price. We had the fillet, the rump steak and the best of lamb. The meat was fried to a perfect medium and with a very tasty sauce. The side dishes were also all delicious. The lamb was the best you can get around here! Price-performance ratio fits well here! You can also sit outside in summer. I can only recommend a visit here.

Good prices for the portion size. In any case, plenty. Very good quality. Staff is friendly. Maybe a little slow at times, but the time in the restaurant should also be enjoyed. 😀

I have known the council chambers for over 40 years and were always satisfied, so yesterday the service was good as well as the individual starters and the food itself was good. Without going into the individual meals, we were very satisfied.

Very tasty home-style food in a pleasant price range. The portions were sufficient and there was also a small greeting from the kitchen at the beginning. The service was very friendly and regular at the table. They even offered a second helping for sauce. Gladly again!

Although it was busy, the staff was very friendly and not overwhelmed. The food came very quickly and was perfect. Seldom eaten so well, I'll be back.

Was there today. 11am reserved online at 12pm. Everything went perfectly when we arrived. Salad was delicious. Main course was good. Toilet well decorated with green and clean.

The right address at all times ... just now ❤ Today on May 1st we had home-made dumplings from the Ratsstuben in Echterdingen. Freshly vacuumed and picked up personally in advance. In our opinion, the best Maultaschen with a homemade potato salad and the Schwabenglück is perfect. We can only recommend the Ratsstuben Echterdingen at any time ❤

I can only recommend. Very good fresh cuisine. Staff very warm and courteous. You feel very comfortable and very familiar. You should definitely stop at the Ratsstuben if you are in real business.

I had dinner in this Restaurant twice during the recent INTERGASTRA 2020 exibition in Stuttgart along with my colleagues. Despite the fact the Restaurant was completely fully booked all dishes we ordered were prepared expressed and their quality was to my taste excellent. The Menu offers a good choice of traditional german dishes and some international choice of dishes. It is clean and the service was nice. The price paid was in line with what we ordered giving a perfect balance beetwen price for value. If I will be aroud here again for sure I will have another dinner here.

Great traditional fair with good service!

Good plain food with a small and fine menu. The dishes are freshly prepared, tasty and reasonably priced. Not very many seats available. Definitely worth a visit.

Great vegetarian (vegan) Maultaschen, efficient wait staff and accommodating management. A good place for traditional, local cuisine.

Service was a bit overwhelmed with all the guests.. quite ironic for a restaurant. Food was okay, not overly great. 😉

The food was delicious and the portions are neat. The service TOP, rarely so nice and well served, without being intrusive. The price is good.

Traditional German food. Excellent Zwiebelrostbraten. Service is friendly and swift. They offer a daily menue at a good rate. Can recommend. Reservations for evenings advised.

Great place with multilanguage speaking stuff

Nice and appealing restaurant with the opportunity to sit outside. Very clean inside and out. The service is exceptional, because the side dishes and sauces are kept warm on a side table and served directly at the table by the waiter. Therefore, as a guest you are asked again and again (in my opinion not intrusive) whether you can still serve. Staff generally very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty, the only drawback is that the dishes could be a bit larger in terms of quantity, which does not mean that you will not be full. Still 5 stars and very clear recommendation.

The service staff here is awesome, the food, beer and wine selections are great it is on the upscale side, a little expensive and kind of formal it gets busy so make sure to make reservations.

There is no English menu and bit expensive. Portions too little and you need wait more than 20 minutes for your order. I cant advice business lunch here. Near a lot of nice places with more tasty food and client-friendly service.

The food, when it arrived, was good. Also the atmosphere and staff were nice. But 2h was a bit too long to wait for the food to arrive.
